History

It was in 1983 when the business started initially with name boards and then gradually expanded the business portfolio covering a wide range of products and services, not only in the advertising industry but also in the construction industry as well. We have so far gained the confidence of industry leading corporate clients and become the most preferred service provider in the advertising industry. Our business location in Piliyandala is convenient to serve Colombo and suburbs, but it does not limit our reach. The main secret of our long existence in the industry is the customer relationship that we have been maintaining for about nearly four decades.

We have now structured the business portfolios in such a way to better facilitate our valued clients. Illustrated below is the manner in which the single business became a group of companies with an interest in diverse industries such as Advertising, Construction, Automobiles, Real Estate, Tourist Transport, Agricultural Exports, Apparel, Digital Printing, and the Residential Condominiums.

Management Profile

Chairman/Managing Director – Mr. Sarath Boteju

Mr. Boteju is a well-known entrepreneur in the advertising industry with a large network of entrepreneurs, professionals and the intellectuals. Mr. Boteju started his journey by making name boards in 1983 and provided a visionary leadership towards the development of a group of companies under the prestigious brand name of Interpub Ventures. The main secret behind his long success story is the strong client relationship that he has been maintaining with all stakeholders of the business.

Mr. Boteju is a customer driven character with an outstanding personality & leadership qualities. He has also shown interest in other industries such as food, tourism apart from the major industries that he has already entered established in. Mr. Boteju studied at Kotte Ananda Sastralaya, and entered into the business field, after completion of his O/L. He is an active member of the Rotary Club of Mount Lavinia since 2014 and currently serves as the Treasurer. He is also a Justice of Peace (JP) and contributed immensely to the development of the advertising industry as a trend setter.

Director/CEO – Mr. Manjula Boteju

Mr. Manjula Boteju is an impressive business leader who is always passionate about delivering something unique to our valued clients. He is the driving force behind the structural formation of the Interpub Ventures. He is now following his father’s footsteps and provides an excellent leadership towards the strategic direction of the group. Mr. Manjula also studied at the Kotte Ananda Sastralaya and currently serves as the President of Shastralians Cricket Club. He earned his diploma in Graphic Designing and he is now studying for BEng (Hons) Civil and Infrastructure Engineering offered by Kingston University London.

Mr. Manjula holds directorships in SeeSign Constructions (Pvt) Ltd, Interpub Ventures (Pvt) Ltd, Interpub Ceylon Exports (Pvt) Ltd and Interpub Apparel Creations (Pvt) Ltd. And also he holds the position of Company Secretary of the above companies, in addition to being one of the partners of SeeSign.

Group General Manager – Mr. Kamal Peiris

Mr. Peiris graduated from Sri Jayewardenepura University with a specialization in Business Administration and also completed an MBA in Finance from the University of Colombo. When it comes to his professional studies, Mr. Peiris is an Advance Diploma Holder in English, Charted Accountancy and CMA Finalist, and also a Member of the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing. He was also the managing partner of KRS Consultants which was a leading consultancy company in Sri Lanka that had been providing Accounting, Management Consultancy and Tax related Services.

Having had many accumulated years of local (private & government) and overseas experience in diverse industries, he will be playing a key role in restructuring the business model and also driving the group towards the vision.
